For more than 25 years, the NSJCC has provided an exceptional and unique learning experience. With an enriching, caring and encouraging environment centered on exploration, play, social development and learning skills, our goal continues to be the creation of a solid foundation so that every child is provided with a positive preschool experience that properly prepares him or her for the next stages of life.
Our infant program, toddler program, and preschool programs nurture the growth of your child in the crucial stages of their early development – making friends and realizing their potential. Your child's social and scholastic journey will start with a solid foundation built in our safe, healthy and committed learning environment.
We provide consistent and reliable service. Recognizing the needs of today’s parents, we are open from 7am to 6pm, year round for the convenience of our families. The NSJCC is a member agency of the Jewish Federation of the North Shore with full licensure by the Department of Early Childhood (EEC).
INFANT PROGRAM
The NSJCC Infant Program enrolls infants from 2 months up to 15 months. Our program allows children to grow and develop through a developmentally appropriate curriculum centered on exploration and play. Low teacher to student ratios ensures age-appropriate care and development for your child.
TODDLER PROGRAM
The NSJCC Toddler Program welcome children aged 15 months to 2.9 years old. Our programs enrich a child’s appreciation for the world through individual play time, group activities, and interactions with their peers. Our programs provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and explore, supported by our experienced team of educators.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The NSJCC Preschool Program enrolls children between 3 and 5 years old. Our preschool provides a quality program focused on developing a life-long love of learning. Children play and develop through our creative curriculum and can also participate in additional enrichment programs such as cooking, Wiggles-n-Giggles, Science, Theater, expressive art classes, various athletic programs, and a variety of cultural programs.
TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
The NSJCC Transitional Kindergarten Program provides a nurturing, enriching environment for children who do not meet the minimum state-mandated age requirements for Kindergarten. In our Transitional class, our educators help children continue to develop and grow in an environment that leverages small class sizes, advanced curriculum, and one-on-one cognitive development Our teachers focus on language, literacy, and social and emotional skills, always allowing children to make choices for themselves and learn responsibility and maturity along the way.
