Infant Program
The NSJCC Infant Program is fully licensed under the EEC and provides a home-like, safe, nurturing environment for infants beginning at 2 months old. In our program, infants develop interests through sensory stimulation, make choices, develop trust, learn about language, and develop social and gross motor skills. The NSJCC provides an environment that contains a variety of stimulating toys and materials where children are encouraged to explore and move around. Daily schedules are designed to meet the varying needs of each individual infant. Each day includes: creative art activities for mobile infants which help develop fine motor skills and creativity; outdoor time; and play time alone and with others. Teachers rock, cuddle and nurture every child showing respect for the child’s needs and talk to them in a caring way. This helps to guide their behavior in positive ways which builds self-esteem by promoting a pro-social environment and encourage cooperative learning. The NSJCC maintains frequent communication with parents and are always available to discuss any issues or concerns. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate in daily activities and special events. We feel that for your child to gain the most from this early childhood experience, teachers and parents must work together, sharing resources and knowledge about each child. Our low child to staff ratios ensures that your child receives optimum care and attention. Click here to print out "Tuition Agreement" Click here to print out "Registration Form"
