The NSJCC has provided thousands of children with the warm, nurturing care that gives them an early sense of accomplishment and self-esteem. The NSJCC offers infant, toddler, preschool, transitional kindergarten, and Kids Space After-School programs which operate 7AM – 6PM year round. We provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum, based on knowledge of how children grow and what they can do socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. We provide an atmosphere where children practice kindness and respect for one another and believe that children learn by being actively involved. Each of our programs is individualized to meet the needs of every child.
The NSJCC is located in the West Peabody Office Park at 83 Pine Street, Peabody, Massachusetts. Our 9,000 square foot facility with 8 beautifully and specially designed classrooms is equipped with age-appropriate furniture, toys, reading areas, and learning centers. Our building also boasts a new, indoor gross-motor room that our students use during inclement weather, as well as a large, central room for community programs and school-wide activities. The NSJCC also features a complete outdoor playground for year-round use.
The NSJCC offers specialty programs included with tuition, such as music with Miss Marcy and Judaica with Miss Debbie. The NSJCC celebrates Shabbat as a school community every Friday when the infants, toddlers and preschool classes come together for singing and dancing to celebrate this weekly holiday. In addition, the NSJCC provides curriculum and activities designed to introduce children and familiarize them with the various Jewish holidays throughout the year and offers special school-wide programs to commemorate the Jewish holidays. We are dedicated to developing and implementing programs for the recreational, educational, cultural, physical and social needs for both the Jewish and general communities, emphasizing the nurturing environment and love of education that is synonymous with our heritage.
OUR TEACHERS AND STAFF
The NSJCC has a full-time Early Childhood Director, Susan Novak, on staff during regular school hours. Susan is always available to discuss the growth and development of your child. In addition to Susan, our friendly administrative staff can assist you in enrolling your child for enrichment programs and can provide you information on upcoming events and programs at the NSJCC. We are proud that the NSJCC teachers and staff have over 200+ combined years of experience teaching and nurturing children.
